My Journey to Becoming an SEO Specialist
The career I’ve chosen is quite different from what I studied in college. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics, major in Food Business Management from Central Mindanao University, but my path eventually led me somewhere new — the world of digital marketing.
In 2020, during the pandemic, I decided to shift my career and explore online opportunities. That’s when I discovered Search Engine Optimization (SEO). From the moment I learned about it, I became fascinated by how websites can grow organically through the right strategies.
Working with Seedhub Media Company gave me valuable hands-on experience in citation building and other SEO tactics. This early exposure deepened my passion for helping businesses improve their online visibility and attract more customers.
To sharpen my skills, I joined a 4-week SEO Bootcamp under Coach Leandro of PinoySEO, where I learned about ranking factors, data benchmarking, and performance reporting. That training provided me with practical tools and insights that I still use today to deliver results for my clients.
